テニスの日本男子のエース錦織圭（２４）は、２０１４年９月８日午後５時（日本時間９日午前６時）からの
全米オープン男子シングルス決勝で四大大会初制覇を懸け、マリン・チリッチ（クロアチア）と対戦あします。
日本選手で四大大会シングルス史上初めて決勝進出を果たし
「歴史をつくれてうれしいが、決勝も勝ってもう一つの歴史をつくりたい」とのコメントです。
