東根のさくらんぼ種飛ばし大会は、２０１３年６月１６日（日曜日）。
「さくらんぼ種飛ばしジャパングランプリ」大会記録は17m83cm。

また、寒河江で行われる「第２８回全国さくらんぼの種吹きとばし大会」も
６月１６日（日曜日）。大会記録は、２３.０５ｍです。
