2013年のセ・リーグ公式戦の日程では、
巨人が7月9日、中山町の荘内銀行・日新製薬スタジアムやまがた（県野球場）で、
1954（昭和29）年以来59年ぶりの山形県での主催試合があります。
対戦相手はヤクルト。
セ・リーグの山形県開催は2008年7月の横浜対広島戦以来5年ぶり。
