山形県は１月25日、1月1日現在の県人口と世帯数を発表しました。
人口は115万9638人で、昨年12月1日現在から762人減少。
1996年以降、16年連続で減り続け、
2010年10月1日現在で、116万人台に突入し、
その後、1年2カ月で約1万人減少しました。

人口は昭和25年の135万7347人がピークで、
2007年以降は110万人台となっています。
