2011年7月18日、山形県中山町で
「全国かぶと虫相撲大会」が行われました。

毎年であれば、山形県内でのトップニュース。
全国放送でも取り上げられる事があるのですが
なでしこＪＡＰＡＮの影響なのか、
ＴＶで放送されるのを見ませんでした。
