樹氷ピンチ

山形、宮城両県にまたがる蔵王連峰で、冬の風物詩・樹氷を生み出す常緑針葉樹「アオモリトドマツ」の葉が、
大量発生したガの幼虫に食べられる被害が深刻化しているそうです。
今後、広範囲に木が枯れれば、樹氷の景観に影響が出かねないと関係者をやきもきさせています。
